Sifu Antonio Hart

Sifu Antonio Hart began his martial arts journey during his undergraduate years at Berklee College of Music, where he studied Shaolin White Crane and Long Fist. After graduating and moving to New York, he became drawn to Wing Chun and trained at several schools while balancing a demanding international touring schedule.

A chance encounter with Sifu Barry Cooper proved to be life-changing. Under his guidance, Sifu Hart made the difficult decision to leave his previous school and join City Wing Tsun under Sifu Alex Richter. The transition was challenging, requiring him to retrain his body and unlearn old habits, but through years of dedicated practice, he grew and developed within the system.

In 2021, Sifu Hart moved to White Plains and began training at Element Wing Tsun with Sifu Barry Cooper. Their relationship deepened into mentorship, and Sifu Hart was given opportunities to teach. After several years, Sifu Cooper invited him to become a partner in Element Wing Tsun.

Sifu Hart is deeply grateful to have a place where he can train comfortably, work with dedicated students, and cultivate a fun yet focused environment. In addition to his martial arts work, he is a full professor at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College and continues to perform, record, and teach Jazz around the world.

Antonio shares Sifu Cooper's mission with sharing Wing Tsun with as many people as possible..
